Southlands is a outdoor lifestyle commercial retail center with a Main Street and community plaza surrounded by retailers and restaurants. The development has over 1.7 million square feet of retail space including Walmart, Sams Club, AMC Dine-in Theaters, and JC Penney. The Overlot Grading included 3.8 million cubic yards excavation. In addition we constructed the public roadway infrastructure surrounding the project included S. Aurora Parkway and E. Smoky Hill Road.

Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center

Gaylord Rockies will feature over 1,500 guest rooms and 485,000 square feet of extraordinary meeting and convention space, first class restaurants, a luxurious spa and salon, diverse shops, and winding waterways. The resort and convention center consisted of erosion control, clearing and grubbing, overlot grading of 460,000 CY, grading 2 miles of roadway to connect E 64th Ave. to E-470, and import of 70,000 TN of recycled aggregate base course.

Block 162 Office Building

The Block 162 Office Building is a 33 story tall office building with an underground parking garage located in downtown Denver.  Work included excavating and grading for the four story below grade parking structure, structure excavation for the building foundation, installation of an underdrain system, and site grading.

The Orchard Town Center at Westminster North

The Orchard Town Center is an open-air retail and entertainment district conveniently located near I-25 and 144th Avenue, Westminster, CO.

 

The project included multi-phase construction with structural and surface demolition, excavation of 2.8 million cubic yards, structural over excavation and recompaction of site soils, over excavation of hydrocompressive materials, grouted boulder drop structures and riprap channel construction.

Grading for a commercial site including complete construction of two buildings and grading of one future building pad.  Work Included construction of parking lots, drives and loading docks as well as relocation of the existing Bull Canal from an open ditch within the project to a box culvert on the west side of Phase 1.

18th and Market, Denver (Downtown)

Excavation and export of approximately 45,000 CY of soil to construct underground parking structure for residential and commercial tower being built in heart of downtown Denver, Colorado. Project included demolition of existing lot, excavation and abatement of approximately 15,000 CY of man-made fill to a subtitle Class D landfill, and all structure excavation and backfill. Due to a higher than expected water table that typical dewatering techniques had difficulty dealing with, Milender White and Kelley Trucking were able to collaborate and come up with creative solutions to keep project on schedule and moving forward despite the wet conditions.

The UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital project consisted of 250,000 CY of overlot grading, 85,000 CY of over excavation below the hospital, parking garage, and parking lots, 50,000 CY of import, and backfilling the exterior building walls.

Candelas King Soopers Earthwork

City of Arvada welcomes a large grocer to support the recently constructed master community developments of Leyden and Candelas, which Kelley performed eathwork services. The King Soopers commercial overlot grading consisted of 400,000 cubic yards and import of 38,000 cubic yards of select fill.

McLane Food Services, Inc. is one of the largest food supply service companies in the United States. This tilt up warehouse project consisted of 56,000 CY of overlot grading, 85,000 CY of over excavation, grading for the warehouse pad, parking lots and roads, and T&M work.
